SERIGRAPHY
Silkscreen or serigraphy is a printmaking process that owes much to stencil
methods.
Ink is pushed through a fabric
(traditionally silk but other materials such as nylon and polyester are now more
common) which is tightly stretched on a rigid frame.
The non printing areas are covered with a special film that prevents ink from passing
through.
Its appliactions are innumerable.
