366 horizontal insights (one each day) in the private life of RGF for a better understanding of his work by the 'accidental navigator'. This project will be made with one year + a day of images and texts.
 
 
 
  01 - 03 - 01: The painting ' AT V ' is declared lost. Thanks to Luis S. I can continue trusting people 
  02 - 03 - 01: I don't remember the weight of the stone that covers the sepulchral camera in the Dolmen of Menga, Antequera... but it was a lot!!

  03 - 03 - 01: After the hanging of Carlos' exhibition, Alfonso, Manolo y Paco, took us to see a pair of 1905 cannons 
  04 - 03 - 01: Yesterday, before returning to Madrid, the storm in Gibraltar broke our umbrella.
  05 - 03 - 01: In 1964 I bought (with my savings) the book ' Tutankhamen'. Now, I return to Egypt, (after 27 years.)
  06 - 03 - 01: Hatsepsut´s Temple: 27 years ago, Javier took a photograph of me at this same spot  (whitout been restored at that time)
  07 - 03 - 01: The Temple of Horus, Edfu: We´ve been very lucky having Jacobo as a private guide; he is the best!!
  08 - 03 - 01: Sunrise in the desert on the way to Abu Simbel: The 14 (Germán, Alvaro, Dany, J.Antonio, Sara...) they are taking pictures non stop.
  09 - 03 - 01: Physical and mental diarrhea: even in Aswan I can see a tower of Babel!!!
  10 - 03 - 01: Museum of Egyptian Antiques: In a dark corner of room 15 I find abandoned, a head of Akenatón...
  11 - 03 - 01: Heat and exhaustion in Saqqara: I cannot forget the short journey in felucca along the Nile...
  12 - 03 - 01: Two sweepers!!: I didn't believe my eyes (Cairo, apart from the 5 Tm. daily of sand blown from the desert... has garbage all over)
 13 - 03 - 01: What did I buy in Egypt? well... a tape by Amr Diad (listened in a taxi on the way to Khan the-Khalili )
 14 - 03 - 01: EVERY DAY: Long and relaxed breakfasts at dawn (cereals, toasts and a lot of tea). Back to normal
 15 - 03 - 01: The custards (recipe of my grandfather Rafael) are much better than any of the desserts I ate in Egypt. (It is not difficult)
 16 - 03 - 01: MUSIC: The painting I´m working on (Arriaza XXIII) has  music of Amr Diab (Tamally Maak) of course
  17 - 03 - 01:  In his opening, Ciuco G. reminded me about the work exchange we spoke about a while ago... (The exhibition, wonderful)
  18 - 03 - 01: We also meet Rafael B. ( DEAYM XIV) after a long time... and trips.
 19 - 03 - 01: In Egypt I lost 3 Kg. Now (it seems) that everything returns to normality... will I stay in 68 Kg.?
  20 - 03 - 01: Galeria Leandro Navarro. Between past and future?... models (Miriam, Marta, Kardán)
  21 - 03 - 01: The unexpected visit of Agustín. He didn't know  about the ' Insights' and now he is in them.
  22 - 03 - 01: With the works in Arriaza I cannot paint. Pedro Z. has promised me that they will  finish soon. It is chaos!!!
  23 - 03 - 01: What a pity! Good-bye to the old floor that in 1983 almost  killed me, (intoxicated by fumes when tinting and varnishing it)
  24 - 03 - 01: Very wisely, Javier leaves  to Brazil for five days, escaping from  chaos
  25 - 03 - 01: Everything goes quick. Also this year some very strange wild flowers have grown in the terrace... and they are already dying
  26 - 03 - 01: In a  lift recently  painted. I do wonder... what does impel a person to attempt on community´s property?.
  27 - 03 - 01: During the chaos of the works in Arriaza, I have been able to keep a corner where I can design a wallpaper´s catalog...
  28 - 03 - 01: I hope that the air conditioned  will make the return to Madrid from Edinburgh more acceptable. In September it still very warm!
  29 - 03 - 01: As I have not been able to go out for a  week, I could not buy a present for Javier. Happy (47) birthday!!!
  30 - 03 - 01: I think that yesterday Javier´s birthday presents were not very successful... but his dinner party, yes
  31 - 03 - 01: More shelves to store paintings. The main job is over but there is always something else... I am exhausted!! (and so is Carlos)
