366 'horizontal' insights (one each day) in the private life of RGF for a better understanding of his work by the 'accidental navigator'. This project will be made with one year + a day of images and texts.

 
 
   01 - 09 - 01: LINCOLN: Five hours to get there by train... and five to come back. The cathedral... disappointing.
   02 - 09 - 01: In the MELA Festival , Philippa V. flew (and danced) remembering her brother's suicide...
   03 - 09 - 01: PRIVATE  GARDEN: In the late 70's they pulled down the tennis pavilion due to... its immoral use. Fortunately now everything is back as it used to be!
   04 - 09 - 01:  POSTCARDS FROM SCOTLAND: Already in autumn, without Festival and  tourists, everything is back to  normal.
   05 - 09 - 01: PRIVATE GARDEN: One more summer ... one summer less.
   06 - 09 - 01: LONDON: The spaces of the new Tate... inspiring
   07 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 22 YEARS LATER: Apparently nothing has changed...

   08 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 22 YEARS LATER: What impresses me the most is the general attitude towards difference and to inter racial relationships

   09 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 22 YEARS LATER: The  AIDS Memorial Grove in the Golden Gate Park  left me heartbroken.
   10 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 22 YEARS LATER: Lifestyle in Castro's neighborhood does not seem to have changed.
   11 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO AMERICA UNDER ATTACK: The shock of seeing the collapse of the WTC on TV gave me a severe back pain.  
   12 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 1 DAY LATER: At 4 AM in the emergency ward... and now the airports are closed
   13 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 2 DAYS LATER: S. FRANCISCO 2 DAYS LATER: Trisha reassures us and extends her invitation to stay at the Oriental Mandarin, but... when shall we be able to leave ?
   14 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 3 DAYS LATER: We met Sharron at the  Flore Cafe, in Castro, and she took us to her floating house in Sausalito.
  15 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 4 DAYS LATER: Many billions of dollars for the war... and us grounded in this country!.
16 - 09 - 01: S. FRANCISCO 5 DAYS LATER: While Memorials grow in S.F. streets, we are still in the waiting list to go back to London
   17 - 09 - 01: PHOENIX: Such a waste of time at Phoenix Airport & being unable to know  the real Arizona
   18 - 09 - 01: LONDON: Europe at last!!! but London was chaotic.
   19 - 09 - 01: MADRID: Back to normality and... tranquility?
   20 - 09 - 01: Javier L.M. tries to ease my back pain, but the healing will take a few days.
   21 - 09 - 01: This heat is not normal and finally arrived, 'the rain of September [that] reveals the emptiness of my room". (F. Battiato & F. Rivera)
   22 - 09 - 01: As we were in S.F. we could not be at M. Luz. birthday party.  Now we can. 
   23 - 09 - 01: What did I buy in San Francisco? well... enough Aspirins & vitamins to keep me going for a long while.
   24 - 09 - 01: And once a year... a general checkup. Dr. Leboreiro has been taking care of my health for the past nine years.
   25 - 09 - 01: Luis M. Clara G. Jesús I. Cesar L. as always we meet at the gallery openings. And where is Fernando R.?
   26 - 09 - 01: Although I am against consumerism I have to buy a PC flat screen... for lack of space.
   27 - 09 - 01: ... a PC flat screen... for lack of space.
   28 - 09 - 01: The boxes with the catalogs for the exhibition in memoriam of my aunt Gloria  have been already sent.
   29 - 09 - 01: VISIT: Nacho R. offered to take some of my etchings to La Coruña and (hidden among so many things) I was not able to find them...
   30 - 09 - 01: EVERY DAY: I remember my father when I use his hair brush.
